How long have you been doing Chainmaille?
I have been doing chainmaille for 2 years.
Why do you like Chainmaille?
I like doing chainmaille because I like the challenge of figuring out a pattern/weave.
What is your favorite type of ring?
My favorite type of ring would be the gold fill. I just looks pretty!
What type of items do you prefer to make?
I make all types of things, rings , necklaces, bracelets. I have yet to find a favorite.
Which weave would you like to learn that you don't currently know?
I would like to learn the Jens Pind linkage.
Which piece are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the scallop necklace, it was for my grandma and she loved.
What advice would you give someone who is considering doing Chainmaille?
I would have to say patience, you need lots of patience. Also take a break every now and then, sometimes you will figure a weave out if you just walk away for a second and then you go " oh now I get it". It is a great way to spend a cold day!
