Byzantine with Mobius Connectors

When making chainmaille you are not limited to using just one weave at a time. There are many weaves that can be combined together to create interesting and beautiful pieces. One of my most favourite combinations is Byzantine with Mobius or Rosette connectors. Here are a few creations from members of the ArtFire Chainmaille Guild.

Something for Everyone

Chainmaille is amazingly diverse and adaptable to different uses. Jewellery is a common creation using Chainmaille, and pieces can be made for anyone with any tastes. Pieces can be brightly coloured and funky, or sleekly elegant and refined. They can be delicate and feminine or chunky and masculine. Here are just a few pieces that show some of the diversity possible.

A Little Bit of Dangle

We are back again with another feature of the wonderful talents of the ArtFire Chainmaille Guild. These time around we are featuring items with a bit of dangle. Some of them get their 'dangle' from the weave, some from the design, but all are gorgeous.

I've Got the Blues!

Christmas Red Chainmaille

The Christmas season is upon us! There are really very few days until Christmas day, and the business of buying gifts for our nearest and dearest is in full swing. So for our latest spotlight of the fabulous talents of the ArtFire Chainmaille Guild we are looking at some creations that feature Red. Next time around we will spotlight creations with green.
