Introducing OmiSilver

It is time to introduce another ArtFire Chainmaille Guild member. This week it is Mary, the driving force behind Omi Silver. Let's see how she answered our questions.

How long have you been a Chainmailler? About 4 years

Why do you like Chainmaille? I like the challenge of the weave and the many different looks you get with the results.

What is your favourite type of ring? I use mostly Argentium sterling silver.  I also like the look of copper.

What kind of items do you prefer to make? Bracelets, necklaces, earrings, pendants, rings - Any type of jewelry.

Which weave would you like to learn that you dont currently know? Viperscale 

Which piece are you most proud of? A full persian square wire argentium bracelet.

What advice would you give to someone who was considering doing Chainmaille? Learn the proper way to open and close rings and jump right in.  It's addictive.
